HOLLYWOOD’S
MOST ANTICIPATED HOUSEWARMING
David Judaken’s New Boite Brings a House Party
to Life in Signature Hollywood Style

In a city like Hollywood, there is truly no
place like home. Nightlife visionary David Judaken will roll out Los Angeles’
most anticipated welcome mat this winter with the debut of My House. A
world-class nightclub set against the stunning backdrop of a contemporary,
luxury home, the city’s newest boite will reinterpret the classic house party in
true Hollywood style.
“Discerning Angelenos are seeking a new
paradigm to replace the current dichotomy of tiny lounges and large, anonymous
clubs that proliferate Hollywood,” said owner David Judaken. My House will offer
this by combining the exclusive ambiance of a house party in the hills with the
energetic possibilities of a nightclub. “We’ve built a breathtaking Hollywood
home beyond your wildest dreams,” Judaken said. “A place where you can play for
the night, and simply leave your key by the door in the morning – where every
evening is an entertainer’s ultimate dream.”
Judaken and designer Dodd Mitchell’s
collaboration seeks to revolutionize Hollywood nightlife by attempting a
delicate balance of energies. As cavernous bottle service clubs have
proliferated, the top end of the market has taken refuge in tiny lounges that
lack the possibilities and voyeuristic energy of a club. My House seeks to offer
the intimacy and comforts of a lounge without denying patrons the hedonistic
pleasures of a club.
“I have always enjoyed the comfort of a house party
that just doesn’t exist in your typical nightclub, so with My House I set out to
create an environment I would personally relish, and bring that vision to the
nightlife space,” said Mitchell.
Step off Hollywood Blvd. into a
modern-day dream house designed with the most discerning palette in mind. Always
the heart of any house party, a state-of-the-art, contemporary kitchen doubles
as the club’s main bar, featuring fully-functional appliances, a wood-covered,
triangular ceiling, and the wafting scent of oven-baked cookies for late-night
revelers. Your eye will follow the open floor plan from the kitchen through to
the formal dining room, as you are led through a seamless transition from
indoors to outdoors where the central dining room table pierces through a wall
of glass, ending in a fire pit burning on the exterior patio. Once outside, slip
into a bathrobe after a dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi under the California
stars.

Back inside, a sunken living room welcomes you
with spacious, lounge-like seating, flat-paneled televisions, chandeliers, and a
captivating pin impression art installation featuring 15,000 delicate pins. The
living room’s well-appointed mix of custom-made furniture will be relocated
later in the evening, unveiling the club’s main dance floor, where DJs will cue
up the city’s hottest soundtracks, night after night. And finally, retreat to
the second-floor master bedroom, where a spectacular, leather-crafted bed awaits
you, and all the necessities you may need are discreetly hidden away in the
nightstand drawers.
With an unparalleled eye for detail and the finest
contemporary aesthetics, My House is Mitchell’s first new project in Los Angeles
in more than two years. A “homecoming” for the designer who has created the
iconic looks behind the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Thompson Hotel Beverly Hills,
Katana, and many more, My House gives Mitchell a chance to share a more personal
vision of luxury and comfort with the world.
The space’s nod to 1960s
architecture is brought to life through notable design features including
crocodile bars, a nickel-scaled ceiling, an eclectic assortment of custom-made
furniture throughout, fire-breathing sculptures, and stunning chandeliers. When
the DJ wants to take over the party, he will do so on a custom steel table,
resembling the chopped branches of a tree, that doubles as My House’s signature
house party version of a “DJ booth”.
Keeping with the comforting vibe of
a personal, yet extravagant home, My House waitresses will dress in casually
styled mens’ button-down shirts, as if they just rolled out of bed. Bartenders
will be seemingly unwinding from a long day of work as they pour a cocktail or
two – their ties may be undone or tossed aside altogether, their button-down
shirts, pin-stripe pants and suspenders remnants of their day at the office.
Beyond its stunning design, My House will cater to guests with
outstanding attention to service. Located at the “Gateway to Hollywood”, at
Hollywood Blvd and La Brea Ave., My House is easily accessible, beating the
crushing flow of traffic at the strip’s center, with more dedicated parking
spots than any other nightlife destination in the area. The property features an
over-sized, grassy “front yard” that lets guests mingle in privacy and comfort
as they wait for admission. Once inside, they will be served from one of five
fully stocked bars, with one dedicated exclusively to staff, ensuring fast and
attentive service for all. Premium bottle service will be offered in opulent
silver trophy goblets, with an extensive offering of the finest brands,
including unique fruit blends and mixers served in crystal decanters.
Judaken’s commitment to premium service and attention to detail has been
finely crafted over many years in the hospitality and nightclub arena. After
promoting some of Hollywood’s most famous destinations, Judaken launched Garden
of Eden in 1997, which quickly became one of the city’s most iconic nightspots,
catering to influencers from around the world for more than a decade. A
succession of Judaken-owned hits followed, including Mood, Opera and Crimson.
With the transformation of Garden of Eden into My House, Judaken comes full
circle and launches a new chapter in his epic Hollywood tale, bringing a new
element of intimacy, sophistication and cool to the world’s most famous walk of
fame.
